This document sets forth the SmartyStreets (herein the "Company") Online
Privacy Policy (herein the "Privacy Policy") for this website, www.smartystreets.com
(herein the "Site"). If you have objections to the Privacy Policy you should not
access or use this Site. This Privacy Policy does not govern privacy practices associated
with offline activities or other Company web sites.
Changes in Privacy Policy
All "personal information" ("personal information" is defined as any information that
identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such
information pertains) that we collect and maintain will be subject to the version of the

Company’s secure server or send data to the Company. The Company recognizes that the data submitted
for processing remains the property of the submitting user or user’s company or organization.
You agree that the Company will take reasonable measures to ensure that this data remains secure.
SmartyStreets will not sell, give, or otherwise distribute any data submitted by you to any
third party. The Company may use or process the data provided only to provide you with the
services requested or to evaluate the quality of the services requested.
The Company may store the data submitted for processing to be used for future processing at your request
and for reference and quality control in the event that there is a problem with the services
provided. The length of time that the data is stored by SmartyStreets is dependant on the
services you subscribe to. This length of time is specified under the terms for the product or
service in the "Your Use of the Software and the Content" section of the
Terms of Use and Service.
You may remove your data from the Company’s secure server at any time by deleting the data in your
account. SmartyStreets agrees to purge the data from its secure servers within seven (7) days
from the time of this request.
SmartyStreets Data Center Security
Our data center is located in a highly secure facility guarded 24 hours a day. The movement of
all authorized visitors is logged and your data is located in a locked area within the secure
facility. Our data center computers communicate with each other using a private network behind a
"firewall" that prevents any unauthorized access to our machines. Credit card numbers and passwords
are stored in an encrypted state.
Your Choices With Respect to Personal Information
The Company recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of information collected
on this Site. Without your consent, the Company will not communicate any information to you regarding
products, services, and special offers available from the Company, although we may find it necessary
to communicate with you regarding your use of the Services on this Site. Except in the particular
circumstances described in this Privacy Policy, the Company will also not provide your name to other
companies or organizations without your consent.
There are other instances in which the Company may divulge your personal information. The Company
may provide your personal information, if necessary, in the Company’s good faith judgment, to comply

Information resides on a secure server that only selected the Company personnel and contractors have
access to via password. The Company encrypts your personal information, and thereby strives to prevent
unauthorized parties from viewing such information when it is transmitted to the Company. Personal
information that you provide that does not constitute Registration Information, which also resides on a secure
server and is only accessible to selected Company personnel and contractors via password. Since this
information is not accessible by you, you will not be asked to select a password in order to view or modify
such information.
Use of Cookies
When you visit this Site, you can browse the Site and access important information without revealing
your identity. In order to improve our Site, we use "cookies" to track your visit. A cookie is a small
